Welcome to Catamount Family Dental, PLC, Your Dentist in South Burlington, VT

Welcome to the office of Dr. Audra Pinto and Dr. Ankush Jindal. We are conveniently located across the street from South Burlington High School with easy access from I-189, or Dorset Street and Kennedy Drive. There is ample parking and wheel chair accessibility.

Our practice is family centered, treating children, adults and seniors. We strive to accommodate and meet a variety of dental needs, taking into account patients' financial abilities and philosophies regarding their dental care. We provide state of the art preventive services, and the gamut of restorative services, including routine fillings, crowns, implants, dentures and aesthetic dentistry. Our files and billing are done electronically, and we employ digital radiology. We pride ourselves on adhering to scheduled appointment times, and having timely accessibility for emergencies.

We do not have weekend or evening hours, but both doctors are available for emergencies.

Meet The Staff

  • Dr. Audra Pinto DMD

    Dr. Audra Pinto is originally from CT and has practiced dentistry in South Burlington since 1994. She graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in 1988, then from Northeastern University in 1990. She continued on to dental school and graduated from Tufts University Dental School in 1994. Dr. Pinto is a member of the American Dental Association and the Vermont State Dental Society. She has joined the faculty at the UVM Dental Residency Program and was elected to the Vermont State Dental Society board of directors. She is currently the Treasurer. She recently joined the board at Center for Technology Essex Dental Assistanting.  She resides in Essex Junction with her husband, and Odin, their Rottweiler, and has two grown sons. Dr. Pinto enjoys skiing, gardening, photography, running, and spending time with her family.

  • Dr. Ankush Jindal DDS

    Dr. Jindal was a dentist in India before moving to the U.S. in 2009. She earned a DDS degree for NYU College of Dentistry in 2012, where she graduated as a member of the Dental Honor Society. She is currently a member of the Vermont State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. Since moving to Vermont she has been practicing dentistry in Swanton, and is looking forward to a shorter commute from her home in South Burlington! Dr. Jindal will be treating patients in a safe, reassuring, and professional environment. Though she enjoys working with all ages, her favorite group is children. Dr. Jindal resides in South Burlington with her husband Mohit and two daughters, Trisha and Niyati. In her free time she enjoys bike rides and hikes with her family, and doing yoga and Zumba. 

  • Laurie Visser
    Registered Dental Assistant

    Laurie joined our dental team in 2015.  She graduated with high honors from CTE, and was the recipient of the Student Achievement award and Hu-friedy award, and a member of the National Honor Society.  Laurie resides in Bristol with her husband and dog Brandi. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 2 grandchildren, reading, cooking, camping, fishing, decorating, and riding motorcycle with her husband. 

  • Sara Morrill
    Certified Dental Assistant

    Sara joined our dental team in 2022.  She graduated with high honors from CTE, and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.  Sara spends her time with her son Elijah. Sara enjoys working out, being outside, swimming, visiting new places, and going on adventures with her son.  Sara is excited to be a part of our office, she is hoping to further her education in the next few years.

  • Sama Pardis
    Registered Dental Assistant

    Sama graduated from CTE in 2023. She was a part of National Technical Honor Society. She was the gold medalist on Skill USA. She is from Afghanistan. She came to Vermont in 2022. She lives with her family. She loves watching football and spending time with her family, 

  • Kaitlyn Brouard
    Patient Care Coordinator

    Kaitlyn joined our practice in 2021 with many years in customer service. She grew up in Milton, Vermont. She enjoys traveling and outdoors adventures. She lives with her boyfriend, and her dog, Mocha. 

  • Cricket Gearwar
    Patient Care Coordinator

    Cricket joined our practice in 2022 bringing with her several years of customer service experience. She grew up in Starksboro, Vermont and currently resides in Hinesburg. She is a mom of 4 and a wife of 10 years. She enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and is an avid hiker.  Loves to travel and spend time with her husband and their children!

  • Barb Hicken
    Patient Care Coordinator

    Barb joined our practice at the end of 2022 with several years in Customer Service. She lives with her Husband and cat and has a grown Son who has flown the nest. She is an avid reader. She loves to travel, ski and hang out with her husband.

  • Villa Rakochy
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Villa graduated cum laude from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Biological Science in 1994 and an A.S. in Dental Hygiene in 2003. Of the 20 years, she has been in practice, 13 of them have been with our practice. She has worked with a wide gamut of patients ranging from young children to the elderly, those who love seeing the dentist to those who don't due to fear from negative experiences of past dental appointments. She strives to provide the best care possible to all patients and finds her profession rewarding. Villa is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Vermont Dental Hygiene Association, and Sigma Phi Alpha Chapter Dental Hygiene Honor Society. She resides in Burlington with her husband, son, and rescue dog 'Daisy'. Villa enjoys cooking, kayaking, hiking, and snowshoeing.

  • Christine Vance
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Christine graduated from Vermont Technical College in 2011 with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and the Vermont Dental Hygienist Association. Christine lives in South Burlington with her husband, Jeff, their three boys, John, Ben, and Connor, and two cats. Christine enjoys spending time with her family and taking nature walks with her husband and boys. 

  • Randi Walters
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Randi graduated from Vermont Technical College in 2020 with an associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is expecting to return in the spring to work towards her Bachelor's Degree. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and the Vermont Dental Hygienist Association. Randi truly values the relationships that she has with her patients and loves to learn about everyone's unique story. She currently resides in South Burlington with her husband Dan and their sassy cat Gizmo. Randi is a 'collector of hobbies' and enjoys everything from doing makeup to building elaborate Halloween costumes. Her next goal is to learn how to play the drums!
